Hey, I’m Jen.
I’m a Masters student and Counseling Intern through Liberty University, working to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

Megan Baron Counseling is offering an opportunity to receive counseling services at a reduced rate with me, as their fall intern. If you are interested in this opportunity please contact me or Megan Baron.
My Story
I believe counseling is something everyone can benefit from, in both the highs and lows of life. Everyone has a unique story, and my goal is to unpack those unique stories to better understand ourselves and one another, and help relieve life’s burdens. I take a person-centered and educational approach to counseling, believing that each person has the ability within them to grow and change using personal motivations. Each person is the expert of their own life, and I am here to help them navigate it. I offer a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space for clients to come as they are.
Prior to pursuing the counseling profession, I served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years, where I gained unique experience in relationship-building and empathetic leadership. I was stationed all over the world, and developed a passion for time outdoors as often as possible, spending time with my two dogs. I also enjoy reading and listening to books; I believe strongly in the value of education and the power of knowledge through reading.
