Megan Baron, LCMHC
I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have been providing therapy in the greater Charlotte area since 2018.
I want to help my clients navigate their unique challenges by utilizing evidence based practices.
I do this by assessing the clients needs, then using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Recognizing that we are complex individuals, I adopt a holistic approach to wellness, addressing mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and vocational aspects as essential components of a client's life.

"Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage.”
-Brené Brown

Outside of work, I enjoy discovering my city and the surrounding areas. Having been born and raised in North Carolina, I have a deep appreciation for it. With the beach and mountains just three hours away, I consider that a win. Although my husband and I aren’t originally from Charlotte, we’ve called it home since our undergraduate days at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, feeling like true Charlotteans. When we’re not trying out new restaurants, we love walking the greenway or playing at the park with our two kids.
If I'm not lost in a sci-fi or fantasy novel, you’ll likely find me watching Survivor (yes, it's still on!).
