Hi, I’m Megan.
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can exhale. Not perform. Not explain themselves. Not apologize for how they feel. Just be.

I specialize in working with teen girls and women, and honestly? I love this work. There's something so meaningful about being with someone during the years when they're figuring out who they are, what they want, and how to stop being so hard on themselves.
A lot of the young women I work with are what people would call "high functioning." They're smart, driven, and capable. But they're also anxious, exhausted, and quietly struggling in ways that don't always show up on the outside. Some found out about their ADHD way later than they should have. Others are in the middle of a big life change and don't know which way is up. Many have just been holding too much for too long.
My approach is honest, collaborative and pretty down to earth. I'm not going to sit quietly and nod for 50 minutes. I'm an active, engaged partner in the process. I'll challenge you when it's helpful and sit with you when you just need to be heard. I take what you share seriously, and I follow your lead.
Therapy with me looks different for everyone, but it always starts with one thing: feeling like you can say the actual truth in this room without filtering yourself first.
I offer sessions in person at my Concord, NC office and virtually throughout North Carolina, so we can find what works for your life.
